MARC BAPTISTA   'Here To There'

I'm in the process of locating and adding some of the films of Clem Baptista.  Over a span of some 40 years he made innumerable documentaries - a large number of them winning awards around the world - San Francisco, Zagreb, Berlin, Ottawa, Cardiff and many more. With a total of nearly 200 - the films are in the National Archives of The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), at Pune. Clem won the Filmfare Award for 'Handicrafts of Rajasthan'. There was a retrospective of his works at The Indian International Film Festival (IIFF) in December 1986, the year after he passed.    Some of my favourite films of his that I can remember was 'Dubbawalla', 'Inquiry', 'Neighbours', 'Mission of Love'...  I am in the process of trying to locate and get copies... 'Kailash' was made some 60 years ago.
